I had forgotten those, they are a pedestrian tunnel under Front Street- err I mean Naito Parkway... I think it was put in when there still was the Harborside Expressway where the McColl Park is.

They were pretty sketchy in the 1970s-80s and probably best to be taken out. Going through them always reminded me of a certain scene in the movie Clockwork Orange.
